    Sometimes I warn other people that things I made are real oniony, but if they think that’s a bad thing then they’re wrong 🤷‍♀️

    Clearly, the fact that the word doesn’t exist is proof that there’s no such thing.

    Never before in the history of the English language has any group had to voice this concept so regularly that it required a name.

  6. I once stuck my nose in a newly opened bag of asafoetida powder and swayed briefly with the intensity of the oniony input. Durian ice cream is deliciously intensely oniony too.

    Onion lover here;

    It would actually be “sulfery” “overly/too alliaceous”, or “oniony”…

    I’m not saying its a thing, just that there are terms for it.
